About the Pediatric Dentistry residency program

The pediatric dentistry residency program offers a 24-month certificate degree or a 36-month master’s degree in Oral Biology.  At least 9 new positions are available each year.

Didactic Experience

Courses, case conferences, lectures, literature reviews and seminars.

Core curriculum

research design, growth and development, research and scientific communication, embryology, biostatistics, radiology, and advanced human craniofacial growth, development and anomalies.  Pediatric dentistry courses include:  Hospital Dentistry, Behavior Guidance & Child Development, Medically Compromised & Special Healthcare Needs, Trauma, Oral Pathology, Orthodontics, Pulp Therapy, Prevention & Restorative Dentistry.
