Turning Collaborative Research into Action

The 11th International TMJ Interdisciplinary Research Meeting (ITIRM) is a premier scientific symposium that unites global bioengineers, clinicians, and researchers to advance the study of temporomandibular joint disorders. This program will provide a unique opportunity for bioengineers, clinicians and scientists to discuss the challenges presented by temporomandibular joint disorders, and to devise strategies to address those challenges.

This collaborative effort is vital to the public because it accelerates the development of more effective treatments, improving the daily quality of life for millions of individuals suffering from chronic jaw pain and dysfunction. The educational objectives include:

  • Establish a benchmark for current treatments and scientific knowledge
  • Bring outside perspective from experts in areas pertinent to TMJ research
