The program leading to the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery is designed to develop broadly competent practitioners and encourages both clinical and basic science research in order to instill an appreciation of biomedical research and a spirit of inquiry in each student.
Dental Hygiene
The Dental Hygiene program trains preventive oral health professionals to provide superior educational, clinical and therapeutic services that support total wellbeing through the promotion of optimal oral health.
Dental Specialty and Graduate Programs
Texas A&M College of Dentistry offers advanced education programs in major clinical specialty areas and graduate programs that lead to an MS in Oral Biology or a PhD in Oral and Craniofacial Biomedical Sciences.
