Biography

Education and Post-Graduate Training

Dr. Wang is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry Department of Periodontics, where she serves as the Assistant Program Director of the Postdoctoral Periodontics Program. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Wang received her dental degree from Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan in 2014. Following oral and maxillofacial surgery and hospital internship, she spent three years in private general practice in Hiroshima, Japan. She then pursued further education and received her Certificate in Periodontics and her Master of Science degree, in 2021, from The Ohio State University, where she served as the Chief Periodontal Resident.

Her research interests focus on soft tissue surgical procedures and dental implants, and she has been involved in clinical trials and systematic reviews.
